When Sophia and James chose The Breakers as the backdrop for their wedding day, we knew it would be something extraordinary. Every frame was a painting waiting to happen.
There are venues, and then there is The Breakers. From the moment Sophia stepped into her gown to the last sparkler of the evening, every second held a kind of quiet magic that only the most intentional couples create.
We arrived at sunrise to walk the grounds — the way the early light hits the Spanish Renaissance architecture is something no filter can replicate. Sophia's morning was calm, surrounded by her closest friends and a room full of white peonies.
The ceremony itself was held on the oceanfront lawn. James held back tears as Sophia appeared at the end of the aisle. We positioned ourselves to capture both faces at once — that dual expression of pure joy is what photography is for.
As the sun dipped below the Atlantic, we stole the couple away for a golden-hour portrait session on the private beach. The resulting images are, without question, some of our most treasured work.
